Hi, I'm Tegan
Photographer, storyteller, wife, mum and small-child wrangler. I’ve been documenting family stories since 2010 and weddings since 2014, and watching new families form and new adventures begin is a huge privilege.
You can expect to see me shedding a tear behind the camera at your wedding. Because while I’m passionate about photography, I’m HUGELY passionate about people.

Answers to (some of) your questions
Good to know
Is there a minimum booking?+
Just one hour. You can book anything from one hour to a full twelve-hour day, in one-hour steps, all using the same pricing: a $1,200 base fee plus $500 per hour.
Do you photograph small weddings and elopements?+
I love them! Little weddings use exactly the same pricing as bigger ones, so a one-hour elopement starts from $1,700. No special formula, no hoops to jump through.
How much time do we need for portraits?+
It’s flexible, and it depends on your day. Some couples love an hour or two exploring somewhere beautiful, others are happy with a shorter, relaxed stretch between the ceremony and the party. We’ll work it out together.
Will you help us plan our timeline?+
Absolutely. Timeline help is included with every booking. I’ll help you work out how many hours you really need and where the photos fit best, so nothing feels rushed.
Do you offer a midweek discount?+
Yes! Weddings held Monday to Thursday (excluding public holidays) save 10% on the base fee and coverage. It doesn’t apply to extras like second photographers, sessions, albums, prints or artwork credit.
How do the complimentary extras work?+
They’re based on your collection total: your coverage (after any midweek saving) plus any paid extras and prepaid artwork credit. Spend $3,500 or more and you unlock one extra, $4,500 or more unlocks two, and $5,500 or more unlocks three, or you can swap all three for three hours with a second photographer.
Can we choose the same extra more than once?+
Yes. You could choose two Storybooks, six mounted prints, or $450 of artwork credit. The only one you can choose once is the Pre-Wedding Warm-Up.
What is the Pre-Wedding Warm-Up?+
A relaxed mini session in my studio before your wedding, with six edited digital photographs. It’s a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera together, discover what feels natural, and find a few favourite poses we can come back to on the day.
Can we have a second photographer?+
You can, subject to availability. A second photographer is $250 per hour with a three-hour minimum, or you can choose three hours as your complimentary extra if your collection reaches the top tier. Extra hours can be added at the normal rate.
Can we upgrade the Storybook or order extra copies?+
Of course. Extra pages and upgrades are available and quoted separately. Identical copies, say one for you and one for each set of parents, can be added as separate extras. Different designs or photo selections may need a little extra design time.
Do you travel?+
Heck yes! Travel within 20km of central Christchurch is included. Beyond that, travel may be charged at the standard IRD mileage rate. Destination wedding? Send me your plans and we’ll work it out.
How will we receive our photos?+
Every edited photograph is delivered through your own private online gallery, ready to view, download and share, within 8 to 10 weeks of your wedding. You’ll also have personal printing rights.
How many photos will we receive?+
There’s no set number, because every wedding is different. I photograph your day as it unfolds and deliver every image that tells your story well. As a general guide, you can expect around 70 to 90 edited photographs for every hour of coverage.
Do we have to order prints through you?+
Most of my printing is done in house, so I’m a bit biased! The quality of printing can either ruin an image or take it to a next-level piece of artwork, so I highly recommend ordering through me or one of my recommended labs.
How do we reserve our date?+
Wedding dates are booked on a first come, first served basis. A signed contract and a 30% non-refundable booking retainer hold your date, with the balance due two weeks before your wedding.
Do you have preferred vendors?+
I sure do! From planners to florists and caterers, I’ve worked with some of the best in the industry and I’m always happy to share.
